Mid straw in colour, this wine shows the distinct stone fruit characteristics for Chardonnay. The lively peach fruit has a background of cashews, which gives complexity to the wine. The fresh fruit flavours produce a full palate making it a very attractive food wine.
As one of Mudgee’s historic properties, Gooree Park is renowned both as a world class thoroughbred horse stud and as the largest vineyard in the district, is also responsible for crafting the thoroughbred of wines.
In 1979 Filipino businessman Eduardo Cojuangco Jnr purchased the historic properties of Cullenbone and nearby Biranganbil & Galambine to form an agglomeration known as “Gooree Park”, realising his agriculture and environmental ambitions. Under Mr Cojuangco’s ongoing stewardship and passion, the property proudly remains a private enterprise.
Today Gooree Park oversees the breeding & pre-training of the next generation of thoroughbred champions, with dedicated breeding, spelling and training facilities; not to mention our own race track. Our pastoral interests also include the highly sought after Wagyu cattle breed, sheep & cropping enterprises.
Gooree also oversees the management of 400 hectares under vine, the production of premium wines as well as onsite Cellar Door operations, events and tours.
Our stunningly picturesque property with its stately trees and iconic white post and rail fences dotting the horizon is located 10 minutes from Mudgee’s town centre and approximately 4 hours from Sydney.
